Miracle Players Foundation co-chairs Joyce Goss, Andrea Weber and Brandt Wood have organized the second Peace, Hope, and Butterflies fundraiser at Flagpole Hill June 2.
The event, which will raise awareness and funds for pediatric cancer research at Children's Medical Center Dallas, starts at 3 p.m. Tickets are $1 each and 100 percent of the proceeds go to the Children's Medical Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders. There will be faice painting, a petting zoo, glamour shots, rock climbing, and live entertainment. There will also be a mass release of butterfiles by Dallas area pediatric cancer patients and survivors.
The Miracle Players Foundation was formed to support the medical and emotional needs of pediatric cancer patients through in-hospital programs and the Miracle Players Camp. For more information, visit http://www.mpcamp.org.
