The Greater Dallas Youth Orchestras will perform the “Season Finale” on May 20 at the Meyerson Symphony Center at 8 p.m.  

The concert features Alessio Bax performing Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1.  In addition, the orchestra will premiere a 40th Anniversary commission by SMU professor and composer Xi Wang entitled "Fall at Bernard Cottage." The orchestra will also perform Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition. 

The 40th Anniversary Ruby Gala benefiting the GDYO scholarship fund will be held that evening at the Meyerson. The silent auction starts at 5:30 pm and dinner starts at 6.
